Joanne has played professionally for wedding ceremonies and receptions in and around the New Forest and Bournemouth area since 1987.
She holds 2 performance diplomas from the London College of Music, one gained at the age of 15 and is highly accomplished at both classical piano and the standards.

Civil Ceremonies.
Half an hour before the ceremony Joanne will play background music as your guests arrive at the venue and take their seats.
Specific music can be chosen for the bride's entrance, anything you want as long as it is non-religious in content.
Generally 2 pieces of music are required during the signing of the register, your choice or Joanne has a selection of appropriate pieces.
Most couples choose another piece to walk out to, some pick humourous songs, others stick to more traditional music but anything that is special to you as the couple is appropriate.
All Joanne asks is that if she doesn't have the sheet music required, that the couple provide it either by post or e mail at least one month prior to the occasion. Most piano sheet music can be downloaded at
Joanne is also a well regarded accompanist acting as rehearsal pianist for many local choral and dramatic societies, eg, Grange Choral Society, The Brockenhurst Choir, Lymington Choral Society, Milton Musical Society and Ringwood Music and Dramatics Society. Therefore the option is also there to accompany a vocalist/instrumentalist at your ceremony whether it be a church wedding or a civil partnership at a designated venue.
Wedding Receptions.
Joanne will play an extensive selection of music from light classics to modern day showtunes/ballads during your wedding breakfast until the cutting of the cake and speeches. Don't worry if your venue doesn't have a piano, Joanne can provide her own keyboard for the occasion.
